You can show up a half hour before they open the doors and walk right in, usually. The sales are great if you already know what you want – picked up a ~$800 trek for $380 last year. They usually have a ton of shoes on sale, but like I said you should really have an idea of what you want before you go in as its not the best environment for getting advice and a fit. Usually some small trinkets, like repair kits and gloves are at a decent price too.
You’ll save big money if you’re buying a bike or shoes, everything else you might save $10-15
Hahahaha well Im glad I didnt get up early for it. I swung by there because I was out at the Mall and REI anyways getting some stuff, so I asked about the date and they said it was next week. Im in idiot.
I bought a set of those $11 700×35 Bontrager tires, a jersey for me, 2 for the girlfriend, a floor pump and the best deal was the wheels I got. Picked up a set of Bontrager Race Lites with Bontrager Jones CX tires mounted to them for $200 brand new. A couple of them employees were pretty jealous.
