GMC Truck commercial…
That road looks like Utah-12, which was scary and hilly enough in a car. I saw a decent number of people biking it, too. There’s some crazy ascents on that thing.
BikeSnobNYC critiqued that truck ad:
my son and I are currently engaged in picking this moronic commercial apart:
Who is GMC going for here exactly? “You know, I really love riding this lightweight racing bicycle, but I’d really rather be carrying it around in a bloated, fuel-guzzling, poorly-handling truck.”
For me, the impressive thing about that truck is the high front end, which would be very effective at knocking pedestrians and cyclists to the ground (the better to cripple them for life). That’s real power. Power like a pro.
Even better is that the front end is so high you don’t need to see fear on their face when you hit them.
This was played on WQED Saturday night…The End of Blessings,
I couldn’t find the poem The End of Blessings that the film is based in…maybe someone will have better luck.
Liberty Mutual… Calves
Trump’s trade war is hurting bike shops. Biketek (Squirrel Hill) and West Liberty Cycles (Brookline) mentioned.
