Add a city with an H. Hamburg is starting a small bike sharing program tomorrow.

Neat examples! I can see this working for tourism & also as a gateway for people who are *thinking about getting/fixing their own bike but not quite ready to make the plunge.

I wonder if the stumbling block in Philly and ‘da Burgh’ is scale. All I read about are city-wide programs. And that makes sense when you have a city of 14 K residents. But perhaps Pittsburgh and Philadelphia should start a program in a particular neighborhood instead of city-wide.

I saw a big van at Forbes at Bouquet the other day, that said something like “YAG Bike Sharing” on it. Not sure on the first word, or the exact phrasing, but I’m pretty sure it started with a Y (that’s why it was kind of memorable). Anyone know about that?
