Hi BikePGH Message Board,

We’re trying to work with the Urban Redevelopment Authority and City of Pittsburgh to open the bike parking facility that was built at the East Liberty Busway Station:

Would folks be able to help out by taking this survey? https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSepeAdDHxOxZp35-7Ji9AOQwCER6tKaAi9v7rx4IpbHwddvZA/viewform

Many many thanks!

*cough*  The station between Negley and Downtown is Herron, with two Rs — John Herron was Mayor in 1849-50; he and an assortment of other Herrons owned most of the land in Minersville, now the Upper Hill, surrounding the reservoir that still bears their name.  Sometime around 1890–1900, the name Herron Avenue was shifted from the road now known as Bryn Mawr Rd to the former 33rd Street.

Unfortunately I haven’t much to say on the actual content of the survey; I mostly only ride the busway to get from Herron to Downtown in winter when they don’t often bother to make the roads out of Polish Hill usable.
