Well the weather is finally nice enough for a critical mass in Pgh. with more than 5 or 10 people. I’m going to be there this Friday, anyone else?

P.S.

For the un-initiated, it’s a group ride around the city on the last Friday of every month (winter too, though you might find yourself in a really small group if the temp. is below 50 degrees). We meet at the Carnegie Museum of Oakland in front of the dinosaur statue at 5:30p.m. and leave at 6. Come on and have some fun!

Maybe? I go once or twice per year it seems. Maybe this will be my week.

Mebbe.

I was planning on being in the East End anyway, for Mayhew’s talk at Pgh Pro; might be a good excuse to do CM, as I never have…

Yeah, I think I will be there if the weather is nice. It has been a while since my last cm. I think it was last year’s bikefest.

Looks good. I was also thinking of riding with the Critical Manners crowd once, if I can find them, just to find out what they’re about. I obviously can’t do both, but I’m looking forward to Friday at 6, whichever ride it is.

Critical manners… has that ride ever even happened?

CManners…still posted on the Wheelmen calendar last time I looked, but I’ve never spoken to anyone who’s ridden it.

I’ll check and see if it’s still around.

Wasn’t the “first” Critical Manners here in town supposed to coincide with the Bike Fest Critical Mass last year? I seem to remember no one showing up for it, or they realized the fun was across the street and joined the outlaws.

“Critical manners…” sounds pretty lame LOL…

HMMMmmmmm Will I choose the poetry reading at Barnes and Noble, or seeing a punk band at the moose?

Go check out the next Rollins show, and you get punk and poetry in one convenient bull-necked package.

Yes! I plan on going after work. The weather is supposed to be sunny with no rain. In the 50’s. It’ll be my first CM but I’m looking forward to it.
