We’ve started our family biking season too, though I’m so nervous about all of us biking the streets together since I got hit. We do Frick and the rail trails, but, get this, they want to start riding all over “because it’s better for the planet,” says Hannah. She’s also quite outspoken in her beliefs that using oil somehow helps G.W. and hurts Iraqi children. My little activist. : s
I just don’t know how to go about making that a reality for them, other than starting with small, safe journeys and building up from there. It’s just me, Hannah (10) and Jacob (7). Any other tips for city riding with kids would be great!
