Thanks for the details. I didn’t recognize most of the riders yesterday either (but I don’t go every single month). Things seemed strained from the begining, we got waaaayyyy stretched out after that first turn on Craig and I ended up helping cork an intersection for too long while people tried to catch up and regroup. It’s a little dicey when you’re corking a rush-hour corner for a loose pack of twenty cyclists!
I don’t think the victim is pressing charges, I’m not really sure how that worked out. She said the cops asked her what she wanted to do and she didn’t want to see the driver get arrested in front of his family – BUT that she didn’t think they would just let him off without even a citation, which they did.
