I think what perhaps Steve meant to say was as a concept, Critical Mass might be a good idea, but since it’s such an organic, spontaneous thing, in practice, it doesn’t necessarily work for him. If it can mean different things for different participants, then why is Steve’s perception any less valid because it is negative?
i feel as if these quotes say very similar things. so i am confused, unless you are replying to point 2, which i think i was responding to the idea of making the mass less inclusive, which i will hold to as a bad idea.
