The best deal going out there is still the venerable Bianchi Pista in the complete bike category.
As for economical frame and fork setups, I’m a big fan of my Pake. And they’re really, really cheap. Its definitely full on track geometry, and rides really nice as most cheap steel frames do.
I’ve got a new ’08 Schwinn Madison waiting for me at home, which is another economical complete choice. Not sure on the geometry specs and everything really, haven’t had the time to sit down and study them. I am looking forward to giving it a workout though, its pretty looking bike if nothing else.
More important than anything is finding something that fits you. So many bikes have relatively large gaps in their sizing that some folks just don’t fit.
