I usually assume that whoever is the one putting someone else’s life/safety in danger, doesn’t get the right of way. I know the law isn’t figured this way, and car drivers definately don’t act this way, but if someone’s gonna get into a couple thousand pounds of steel, I think it should be their responsible to make sure they’re not hurting anyone, whether it’s a person on a bike, someone walking, or a racoon. I assume that someone on a bike shouldn’t expect people to get out of our way just because we’re in a rush to get somewhere.
the one thing i haven’t figured out yet, is where the line is drawn between pedestrian, and a person who’s walking from their car to wherever they’re going. You’re only a pedestrian if you walked where you’re going
