An article on NPR has a photo of a Pittsburgh Bike Messenger. Are they on this board?

http://www.npr.org/2011/02/01/133391970/monster-snows-and-megastorms-oh-my

NPR:”Perhaps this bicycle messenger in Pittsburgh, photographed during a snowstorm Jan. 11, is trying to tell us something.”

This belongs on the “You Know You’re a Biker When…” Thread – You know you’re a biker when you can identify/be identified despite hat being pulled down, sun glasses on and balaclava in place. …Only in Pittsburgh!

Ha! I’m always running into this guy in when I get to work downtown in the mornings! Now I can put a name w/ a mask!

Great photo, I’ve seen that guy, but I just thought Joan Rivers was in town.

I see that guy all the time at work and school (he’s usually at peppi’s when I see him, or chatting with the security guards at the art institute)

I used to live 2 blocks from him, and see him downtown like the rest, I’ve always referred to him as the punisher. serious punisher fetish, and one of the few regular cyclists with a stogie. respect.

I used to chat with him at OTB every so often. He was always pretty cool–a little crazy, but pretty cool.

Saw him riding out on the Fifth Ave sidewalk near Sixth Ave around 3:45 this afternoon. I’d seen him before but never paid any attention. Now that I know what he looks like, he’s instantly recognizable.

This guy is awesome. I ended up riding next to him downtown once, and some huge woman stepped out right in front of us. She got a stern talking-to from him. lmao
