Just to confirm, does “self supported” means no designated pit stops or sag wagon? Or just “fix your own flat tires”?

Just in case someone wanted to know a little bit about Mr. Taylor.

There will be a rest stop (at least one — so far we have 5 volunteers for rest stop(s)). I don’t think that SAG would be provided.

Rout will be marked. http://ridewithgps.com/routes/4750770

PS If we have 30 people, I promise, I’ll be SAG. :)

We will have a rest stop midway on the ride at mile 34 on Bakerstown Rd. at the Pittsburgh North Golf Course. The address is 3800 Bakerstown Rd, Bakerstown, PA 15007. The entrance to the course is on your left about 1000 feet past Ridge road. After turning into the driveway, head down the hill to the club house which will be on the left. before the parking lot. The entrance to rest stop will be marked with a left arrow and include “rest stop”.

There is a bar restaurant at the pro shop where there are bathrooms to use. Water bottles can be filled up and food can be purchased, e.g., hot dogs, sandwiches, etc. Two PMTCC members (Mabel and Sean) will bring Gatorade and snacks to the golf course for the riders. There is an area by the party house, a building in front of the restaurant where the table and snacks will be set up.
