Yeah, that stretch that was the gas lines is quite nice. Waaay back when, in college, I spent my summers maintaining those the land around the gas lines (my dad’s company manages those lines for USS), and the stretch behind Kennywood was a favored loafing spot for the crew. There is, surprising, quite a bit of wildlife in that general area, despite the industry. And surprisingly, there is a wildlife preserve on the land where the USS Irvin Works resides. We would routinely see foxes back there.
