I think the Yorkie in the basket was the hit of the show.

Anyone know where pictures from this will be posted? I saw quite a few cameras as we went along.

We want to thank all of you for coming out, it was a truly splendid time! We already have plans for another ride or two, so stay tuned!

As for photos, anyone is welcome to send and email to myself or drew (ben@ or drew@ clankworks.com) and we will get a gallery assembled.

We will be putting a follow-up post on our blog within a day or two with initial pictures and will keep adding. We got a nice photo spot in the PG yesterday too!

The baffled look on hundreds of dazed and confused Penquins fans – priceless.

I futzed aropund in the parking lot at the beginning of the ride. I got on my bike to bring up the rear, then discovered I had a flat tire. My pump didn’t help.

If I had discovered the flat two minutes earlier, I’m sure someone would have helped me, but by the time I was sure it was flat, I was alone.

I neglected to have a patch kit – not sure if I would want to use with my suit, white shirt, and tie, but I should have it.

With two buses home, I TRIPLED! my lifetime use of bus bike racks.

A mormon asked me if I was a missionary.

Mick

Oh that stinks.

What did you tell the mormon?

Morman: Are you a missionary?

You: As a matter of fact I am, Would it be ok if I talked with you a bit about cycling?

edmonds59

You: “Have you accepted Eddy Merckx as the greatest cyclist of all time?”

I would like to offer you a copy of Commuting 101. It has changed my life and I hope it will change yours.

I told the Mormon about the tweed ride.

I gave him directions to the Mormon Church on Dithridge street.

I refrained from telling him that in my most decadent period, I lived in a house which is right where the sanctuary of the church is – and in the space directly above the alter, I committed a variety of sins and illegal acts, the memory of which always make me smile.

“We got half a pack of smokes, a full tank of gas, it’s 150 miles, it’s dark and we’re wearing sunglasses. Hit it!”

Oh wait I got a flat

@mick

(Blues Bros. or something like that)
