I stopped to check this out last week & there were two different people selling bikes. They both had some cool stuff…it’s at the corner of 36th and Butler…this is the last week for the Little Flea :(

Yeah, theres one guy selling old crusty rusty cruisers for $2-300, and another guy who admittedly was “buying up old schwinns and giving them new tires.”

Not all old wine is vintage.

Flippers or not there were some beautiful bikes. It would be kinda cool if there more used bike dealers in the ‘Ville instead of all of those used car dealers. I bought a sweet 1950’s tanker bike to put in my garden for $40!

sorry greasefoot i wasn’t implying anything there…

nothing wrong with people flipping bikes if people will buy them. i’m just saying…. don’t get excited to find a garage sale treasure trove, expect instead $150 gaspipes

I went down to check it out again this week and there was only one guy this time and he only had a few high priced bikes. I sat and had a nice conversation with him for well over an hour. Very nice guy, if you are looking for a particular bike give him your name & number and he will find it for you.

I also met a guy that gave me the name of an industrial powder coating company. He said if they are working on a big job they will throw a bike frame or two in for cheep (case of beer?!?) You just have to like the color they are spraying for the lot.

I guess the people who run the flea might have one more next week if the weather holds out.

That tree is clearly too close to the path. It got what it deserved.
