Get fit while giving back. Spend an hour and 15 minutes for 5 days helping a child to ride. You don’t need to be a teacher, just want to help kids ride a bike without training wheels. A national program , Lose the Training Wheels, and The Children’s Institute need your help. A volunteer works with a child with special needs helping him/her to maintain balance and
running along side or behind the child while they are learning to ride a two wheeled bike. This is a physically demanding activity. There is a director who will tell you what to do to assist the child in riding.
Looking for teens*/adults 16 yrs. or older who are able to:
• Be physically active for 1 hr and 15 minutes (running beside a
bike, assisting child with balancing on the bike while riding)
• Hold onto a bicycle
• Be positive ? HAVE FUN!
