Tweed/Seersucker Ride 2?! (a plea)
Hi all,
I am planning to host the Bikefest Pool Tour 2012 this year, but I was hoping that someone would revive and return the Tweed Ride, or as I think it was called in 2010, the Seersucker Ride.
It was the same day as the pool tour and I ended up not participating.... but it is my genuine wish that this ride be resurrected!
So: I like to plan one thing at a time, and I am hoping someone else will be psyched and do this one.
If this has already been discussed, sweet! I will look forward to attending!

Also, I've had it in my mind that at some point, for some Friday, I want to propose something like a "Tiki" ride. Big Hawaiian shirts, big flowery dresses, maybe even dudes in coconut bras and hula skirts would be a scream. Cocktails after. Interest?

Cool. I shall experiment with lashing torches to my rack this weekend. Though with a rayon Hawaiian shirt that could go badly. Keep an eye on the news.

good to know about the tryabike, because i got an email about submitting rides and i was like, sweet, ill just go for the 12th.
