The sarcastic comments in the product reviews section were amusing- seems most people understand the folly of this product.
I like the idea of having your drinks on it, but then having to pick them up whenever you make a turn- could be a new drinking game! A way to thin the herd.

From the photograph we see that the steering wheel has been turned 180° (in order to fit the shelf). I take this to mean that the shelf is best used in large parking lots (or on salt flats) and probably at slower speeds.
Imagine buying a burger at a drive-thru then eating it in drive-round! Awesome.
But they probably spoil the fun by cautioning you not to drive with it installed...

It makes perfect sense if you work on the road, i.e. drive an 18-wheeler. No problem so long as it is only used while the truck is shutdown at a reststop.
Shouldn't this be in the cars-crash-into-buildings thread? LOL
