Any idea how many people turned out for this?

200-300 Maybe. It was too hard to tell with people inside and outside, coming and going. It was a great show of support & WPXI had a camera crew there early, then a live feed at 11pm.

WTAE ran a segment on it too, at 11:30 last night. It was a great event--I hope it raised a ton for Colin.

If there's a video of the story, I'd like to see it. It sounds like it was a great event! Glad I wasn't there (I don't like crowds), but if I can contribute in another way on a later date (waiting for payday still), someone should let me know!

for those that do not enjoy crowds, then passing on the event would have been the better option.

it was a madhouse, a glorious supportive madhouse.

I was struck at work during the event. I am glad it had a big turnout. It also received very positive coverage on the news. I am pleased how the cycling community came together for this.

My son called me from there, so I went down and met him. Colin's pastor is my son's girlfriend's father. I hope they raised a lot of money, and also that Colin has health insurance.

The only tagger I saw there, who I recognized, was buffalo buffalo.

I hope the POS who did it saw this on the news and his brain exploded. Also hope the police are making some progress on this.

Glad there was a huge turnout! I really wanted to make it, but already had a weekend bike trip on the GAP planned. I ended up donating via my phone while we ate dinner at West Newton. So I guess I was there in spirit (or in 3G)...
